I was sent to Dr. Pawluk to have a dreaded root canal done on my bottom molar.  I was so nervous prior to the procedure, but it went as smooth as a root canal can go! Dr. Pawluk talks you through it, and makes you feel as comfortable as possible.  I was able to listen to my iPod through his stereo system in the operatory which made it much more relaxing. I was in and out of the room in 30 minutes, and it wasn't much worse than getting a filling done. A day later, I'm a little sore, but nothing compared to the horror stories I'd been told. Wow what a great doctor.  I wish more people knew that such specialists exist!  I wasted 2 appts with my general dentist for a root canal that simply had to be redone by Dr. Pawluk.  He expertly treated the tooth and found that my old dentist had failed to locate a fourth canal.  I highly recommend this doctor!!  He has several offices so if you are looking for a great root canal specialist/endodontist I would strongly recommend you look him up!  He also takes insurances!         JAMES W.

I  was referred to Dr. Pawluk to have a root canal performed. Being that this was my first root canal (and hopefully my last ), I was a bit nervous. Going to get a root canal procedure is never a picnic, but if Dr. Pawluk is your doctor, then he will at least make sure you are treated as a person and not just another patient.
My case was especially challenging, even for a professional who has done these type of procedures over and over. Specifically, my root was very curved, making it nearly impossible to get to the infection. Despite this challenge, Dr. Pawluk managed to correct a once-faulty root canal I had had done in my twenties.
I'm not writing this review to tell you about Dr. Pawluk's expertise. That is apparent. I am, however, writing to recommend him as a kind and concerned person. No one likes to get dental work, but I certainly appreciate the follow up I received from Dr. Pawluk and his staff. I'm sorry, but even I wouldn't give out my cell phone number for someone to contact me, and on a weekend to boot. It turns out I did need to contact him and guess what? He called back!

 I was refered to Dr Pawluk to complete a root canal, I give 5 stars and a specific reason for each. 
1. Punctuality- Root Canals are stressful enough and I would have been on the verge of a minor panic attack had I been made to wait an extended period of time. I was brought into the prep room almost immediately after completing the initial paperwork.
2. Manner- Dr Pawluk and his staff were very positive and reassuring.
3. Atmosphere- Easily the most up to date office I have ever been in, the massaging chairs were a dream and the music was my style.
4. Procedure- Root Canals are never a good time but the most important thing I can say is they had me in and out and I was completely numb throughout.
5. Follow-Up- I received an information guide for after as well as a phone call from Dr Pawluk, even though I was a one time patient, it was nice to have that little extra.

Office was clean and very modern. Normally I'm not impressed by gizmos but the equipment this office uses is very 21st century!
Would certainly return to Dr. John if needed.

I had to have a root canal. Unfortunately, I got a crack in a molar that had a large filling, and then the cavity went really deep and near the root of my tooth. It hurt quite a bit, and even during the exam, my dentist numbed me up but it still hurt quite a bit.
I was sent to Dr. John Pawluk.  Since I had pain during the previous procedure with my regular dentist, I was absolutely terrified that I would feel the root canal. I even cried a bit in the waiting room.
I assure you that Dr. Pawluk and his staff will take care of you if you have to come here for dental work. He ensured that I was comfortable and gently calmed my fears. I was smiling a lot when I left here - it's hard to imagine, but my root canal was a positive experience. Now my tooth can heal, and I know that if I need another root canal some day, I will be in good hands with Dr. Pawluk.
I cannot recommend Dr. Pawluk and his wonderful staff enough!

I  love Dr. Pawluk! I am a wuss - a big, fat wuss. I regress to a whiny 8-year-old when faced with any dental procedure.  Dr. Pawluk allayed all my fears and had me in and out in under 20 minutes! I was grinning when I walked out of his office (well, as much as the Novocain would allow).  Dr. Pawluk is the best (I have no foundation for this statement other than the fact that I cannot imagine a root canal going more smoothly or painlessly)!  Dr. Pawluk performed my first ever root canal. As you might expect, I was pretty nervous about the whole thing and had no idea what to expect. Overall, I would say that it was a fairly easy proceedure, much like getting a cavity filled. Dr. Pawluk was extremely helpful and made the process a breeze. During the proceedure, he stopped and asked me multiple times if I was doing okay, and he even stuck around after the proceedure to answer all of my questions. He knows what he's doing and gives you all the facts and info you need to feel informed and comfortable about the process.         JENN H. 

 Just as Dr. Pawluk promised, today's procedure was even easier than the hour I spent in his chair just a few weeks ago.

 When my root canal day arrived, I was greeted by friendly faces at the front desk. Too my surprise, I was taken in 10 minutes earlier then my scheduled time and received immediate attention and explanation. Dr. Pawluk's assistant was kind and gentle and worked her best to soothe my fears. When Dr. Pawluk walked in the room he noticed the slight tears and did his best to calm me down and distract me as he started his work. He spent the entire procedure gently explaining everything that was going on; from the pressure I would feel in my mouth to the noises that I would be hearing. 

I can go on and on...but 45 minutes later with absolutely NO PAIN AT ALL  the job was done. I sat up from one of the awesome chairs they have and (while slightly drooling) told Dr. Pawluk that if it was appropriate I would kiss him. I was that relieved and impressed. I never thought it would be possible to walk out of a dentist's office smiling, but this is exactly what happened.     NICOLE F.
